Why a daily word?
Word games stick when they become a ritual. One shared puzzle a day gives you a reason to come back, a streak worth protecting, and a fair way to compare with friends — everyone faces the same scramble. When you want more than one word a day, practice mode deals unlimited random words, and the Jumble Solver and unscrambler can crack any scramble on demand.
Daily challenge tips
- Hunt for common endings first. -ING, -ED, -ER, and -TION appear constantly. If the scramble contains those letters, try building around them.
- Place the vowels. Almost every word has A, E, I, O, or U near its middle. Anchoring vowels first makes the consonants fall into place.
- Save the definition hint for last. The first-letter hint narrows the field the most; the definition usually gives the word away entirely.
- Say it out loud. Rearranged letters often click when you hear candidate sounds — especially CH, SH, TH, and PH pairs.
Daily challenge FAQ
Does everyone get the same daily word?
Yes. The word is chosen by a formula based on the date, so every player who opens the Daily Challenge on the same day gets the identical scramble. Compare attempts with friends and see who solves it fastest.
What happens if I miss a day?
Your current streak resets to zero the next time you play, but your total games and wins are kept. Streaks and stats are stored in your browser on this device only — clearing your browser data resets them.
Do practice rounds affect my streak?
No. Practice mode deals a random extra word whenever you want one, and it never touches your daily streak, your played count, or your win record. Only the one official word per day counts.
When does the new word appear?
At midnight in your own time zone. The challenge uses your device's date, so your new word is ready the moment your day rolls over.
How many hints can I use?
Up to three per word: the first letter, the number of letters, and the word's definition. Using hints never costs you the win — solving the word is what counts.
